With a deep love for the game and a commitment to developing both athletes and young women, Coach Adam brings energy, enthusiasm, and a strong belief in the power of sports to inspire growth. As a coach, he is dedicated to not only teaching the fundamentals of softball but also fostering an environment where every player can push their limits, embrace challenges, and learn the value of teamwork and perseverance.

Whether it’s on the field competing with passion or off the field working to develop confidence, leadership, and character, Coach Adam believes that each moment is an opportunity for growth.  His approach blends competitive drive with fun, ensuring players feel both challenged and supported in their journey to become better athletes and stronger individuals.

Coach Adam strives to create a team culture built on respect, hard work, and dedication, where every girl can thrive, be themselves, and, most importantly, enjoy the process of becoming not just a better player, but a better person.

Coach Sam grew up on the softball field as a younger sister and player.  The confidence, leadership skills, and strong work ethic she gained from team sports is something she has passed on to her three daughters.

Coach Sam has been coaching for over a decade at all levels of play.  Currently she assists the 10u Blue Angels Team and is the assistant coach of Germantown Academy’s Varsity High School Team.  She is a strong believer in building proper mechanics, playing smart and most of all, having fun.  

Matt is an enthusiastic and passionate coach who is dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential. He started coaching softball over 15 years ago when his oldest daughter was 5 years old. She went on to play D1 collegiate softball at Drexel University. He has guided teams to State and National Championship victories. Matt promotes self-esteem, the values of sportsmanship and a positive team culture. He stresses the importance of having fun while learning and developing skills. He motivates players to be the best they can be on and off the softball field. He is excited to be part of the Blue Angels organization and is looking forward to watching the team grow and achieve their goals.

Jim is a dedicated and passionate softball coach with a rich background in sports. Jim got into coaching when his daughter first started playing softball 4 years ago. Having played football, baseball and basketball up until college, Jim brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of team dynamics and athleticism to his coaching. In high school, he was recognized for his talent and dedication, earning All-Catholic honors for two years in football. His multi-sport background not only enhances his coaching techniques but also inspires his players to strive for excellence both on and off the field.

Danielle Monaco is an assistant coach for Darby Brants 12u team.  Coach Dani is from Levittown Pa, she went to Neshaminy High school where she played softball all 4 years. Then she was recruited to play college softball at Ursinus College in Collegeville Pa. Danielle was a catcher for all of her softball career and loves to do catching lessons now!

Coach Jon Pulli has coached competitive fastpitch softball for five years and has two decades of experience developing talent for high-pressure leadership roles. He focuses on process over results and being mentally prepared for the game. Optimism, work ethic, commitment, resilience, and positivity are hallmarks of all his teams. In addition to being a NAYS and ACE-certified fastpitch coach, Jon is also a Little League-certified Umpire.

Coach Dan is entering his second-year coaching softball for the Blue Angels and brings over 6 years of baseball coaching experience. His passion for the game began in T-ball and continued all the way through college where he played at East Stroudsburg University. In high school, Coach Dan played shortstop, helping his team to an 8th place finish in the state.

As a coach, he is dedicated to teaching young athletes proper techniques and mechanics along with strong fundamentals. Coach Dan takes pride in building meaningful relationships with each player and fostering a genuine love for the game. He is committed to creating a fun, positive, and supportive learning environment where players can develop their skills, build self-confidence, and grow both on and off the field.

Softball has been a part of Coach Amanda’s life since fifth grade, shaping who she is both on and off the field. As a college catcher at Gwynedd Mercy University, she developed leadership, resilience, and a strong understanding of the game as a whole. Her proudest on-field achievement came during her sophomore year, when she ranked #4 nationally in NCAA Division III batting average (.532) and earned Second Team All-Region honors.

Today, Coach Amanda is focused on passing that knowledge on to the next generation. Coaching allows her to combine her love for the game with her passion for teaching. She finds the greatest reward in watching young athletes gain confidence, sharpen their skills, and believe in themselves. Helping players grow into strong competitors—and even better people—is why she coaches.

Coach Rich has been coaching youth softball at the travel and recreational level over six years; and has been deeply involved in building a now thriving softball little league in his community. Coach Rich played baseball from little league through college. Through his years in the game and coaching, Coach Rich has learned the value of hard work, resilience, and a positive attitude, and that confidence is the key to success on the field and in life! He focuses on developing each player while building confidence and having fun. Coach Rich is a girl dad and knows the tremendous value in surrounding his daughters with strong female role models, which is why he chose to coach for Blue Angels. He understands the importance of his daughters playing for a female run organization. Blue Angels and Coach Rich share the same mindset that they are not only teaching athletes skills but they are all helping to prepare the athletes for life.
Caitlyn Mitros grew up in Warminster and went to William Tennent High School where she was a 4 year varsity starter. Caitlyn then went on the play at the University at Albany. Starting in left field she accomplished many awards such as all-conference rookie team (2021), 1st team all-conference (2021, 2023), 2nd team all-conference (2024), all-conference Honors (2021, 2023, 2024). Caitlyn graduated with her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and she is currently pursuing licensure in PA. Her interest in sports psychology is a big reason she wants to coach young girls in this sport. Caitlyn hopes to teach skills not only to improve their physical skill set but set a foundation for mental flexibility and confidence to succeed in the future.

Coach Riley is an assistant coach for 13u Kriska. She grew up in Richboro Pa and  graduated high school in 2023 from Archbishop Wood High School, where she served as a senior captain. She also played softball for the Blue Angels program for six years. During her sophomore year of high school, she earned Third Team All-Catholic. Her team then went on to win the Philadelphia Catholic League Championship in 2022. She is currently a Social Work major at Elizabethtown College and was named to the Dean’s List during her sophomore year of college. She is now a Junior at Etown, continuing her academic and personal development. She is excited for her second year of coaching with Blue Angels and to watch how our players develop and grow as young athletes.

Coach Brett has been coaching youth softball for seven years at both the recreational and travel levels and is entering his fifth season as a travel softball coach. He played Legion baseball through high school before serving five years in the military, completing multiple deployments that reinforced the values of hard work, discipline, and resilience he now brings to his coaching. Coach Brett focuses on teaching the ins and outs of the game while keeping practices positive, energetic, and fun. He believes in a work hard, play hard mentality and that if you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong—developing confident athletes who love the game is always the top priority not just in softball but in life as well.

Coach Rob Sipler has been coaching youth softball for eight years. He started at the machine pitch level and has continuously progressed to fastpitch competitive softball. Rob has many goals as a coach, including but not limited to teaching his players the fundamentals of softball, educating them on what being a part of a team is all about, and most importantly, having fun but remaining competitive on the field. He looks forward to being a part of the development of all Blue Angels Athletes.

Coach Steph has had a great passion for softball all of her life. She was a four year varsity starter for Council Rock South as a pitcher and outfield and continued playing in college at Penn State Abington. While at Penn State Abington, she earned many awards such as NEAC Second Team, Two-time Female Scholar Athlete of the Year, Player of the Week, as well as setting the record for hits in a single season. Coach Steph is also an Elementary STEAM teacher in the Council Rock School District. She plans to utilize her experience and knowledge to help grow the next generation of softball players. She is excited to be a part of the Blue Angels Organization.

Although brand new to the coaching scene, this isn’t the first time around the diamond for Coach Tiffany – Sipler. Growing up playing softball and being the only pitcher for most of her teams, she’s looking forward to passing on the knowledge she gained from many before her. Having served in the United States Navy and playing fast and slowpitch softball abroad, Tiffany knows firsthand what it’s like to be a team player. She not only strives to instill the fundamentals of the game but works equally as hard to guide these athletes into amazing young women. Coach Tiffany firmly believes there is much more to any sport than just skills. Hard work, determination, perseverance, attention to detail, and confidence will take these Blue Angels Athletes to places they never imagined.

Devon Fithian is an accomplished softball coach and former multi-sport collegiate athlete with a strong passion for athlete development both on and off the field. She was a four-year varsity softball player at William Tennent High School, where she developed a deep love for the game and a strong foundation in leadership and teamwork.

Devon continued her athletic career at Arcadia University, competing as a dual-sport athlete in softball and swimming. During her time at Arcadia, she earned the program’s highest honor, The Shining Knight Award for Softball, and competed in NCAA Regionals. She was also actively involved in student government, further demonstrating her commitment to leadership and service.

Currently, Devon is enrolled at The University of the Cumberlands, where she is pursuing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with aspirations of working in sports psychology. She brings a unique perspective to coaching by emphasizing mental toughness, confidence, and overall athlete well-being.

Devon is proud to serve as the Head Coach of Archbishop Wood JV Softball, where she is dedicated to helping athletes grow as competitors, teammates, and individuals.

Paige Ross is a dedicated softball coach with a strong competitive background. From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Paige has been part of the Blue Angels Fastpitch organization for eight years, gaining extensive experience at a high level of competition.

She was a four-year starter at Archbishop Wood High School, where she established herself as a consistent and reliable athlete. During her high school career, Paige earned Second Team All-Catholic twice (2021, 2023), was named 2021 All-Area Bucks/Montgomery, and won the 2022 Philadelphia Catholic League Championship with Archbishop Wood. Her defensive excellence was recognized with the Defensive MVP Award at USSSA’s 2021 Nationals, highlighting her strong fundamentals and leadership on the field.

Paige brings the same discipline and work ethic from her playing career into her coaching approach. She is passionate about player development, defensive skill-building, and fostering confidence and teamwork in young athletes.

Coach Hailey is an assistant coach for the 14U Fithian team. She is from Philadelphia, PA, and attended Nazareth Academy, where she was named Second Team All-Catholic. She currently attends Chestnut Hill College, where she studies psychology and plays Division II softball. This is her first year coaching with the Blue Angels, and is excited to be back with the organization after also playing for the Blue Angels. She’s passionate about giving back to the program that helped prepare her for college softball, and sharing her knowledge and love for the game with the girls. She’s looking forward to helping our players grow in their skills, confidence, and love for softball, and she’s super excited for this season!

Taylor Schwartz is the head coach of the 14u (older team). This is her third year as a softball coach, and second with the Blue Angels Organization. She played softball throughout her time at Archbishop Wood and is currently the JV Coach at C.B. South. Her goal is to not only strengthen the softball skills of young women, but to also teach them about life. Working with the girls in the Blue Angels Organization means a lot to me, because the owners were my high school softball coaches, who helped shape me into the person and coach I am today.

Coach Julia is an assistant coach for the 16U Schwartz team. She grew up in Warrington, PA, and attended Archbishop Wood High School. She currently attends Widener University as a nursing major and plays on the Widener Softball team, where she serves on the team Leadership Council. This is her second year coaching with the Blue Angels and her fifth year as part of the organization. She is incredibly excited to continue coaching and to share her knowledge and passion for the game with young athletes. Her goal is to help her players develop a genuine love for softball, just as she has, while teaching them everything she can both on and off the field. She truly loves being a part of this organization and can’t wait to see what the year ahead brings!

Coach Joe Kaub grew up in Springfield, Montgomery County, and played baseball from tee-ball through high school. Coach Joe has been coaching youth softball for ten years and was the founder of the community’s Little League program, which he is so proud of. Coach Joe has a passion for mentoring and coaching. He loves teaching the technical side of the game as well as what softball can teach you about about life. Watching someone gain confidence in themselves through sports and seeing their smile when they achieve their goal or something they didn’t know they could do is truly gratifying. I am excited to be a part of the Blue Angels team as their aspirations for helping their players achieve and reach the next level align with mine.

Coach Maeve’s love for softball started early, from neighborhood wiffle ball to collegiate softball. She was a four-year outfielder and two-year captain at Gwynedd Mercy High School and became the starting left fielder and captain at Elizabethtown College.

Maeve’s coaching journey began in 2016 as Asst Varsity Coach at Archbishop Wood alongside Coach Jackie Ecker. Under their guidance, Wood’s team has become a powerhouse, winning the Philadelphia Catholic League in 2022 and making strong playoff and State Tournament runs.

Coach Maeve currently coaches the 18u Showcase team, where she strives to empower her players to communicate always, hustle hard, and give 100% all the time.

Coach Joe Knecht has been involved in and coaching youth softball for over ten years. He enjoys teaching his players the proper technique and skills to build habits and master the fundamentals of softball. Joe always refers to the saying, “The best view comes from the hardest climb,” which he believes may be applied to everyday life. His philosophy of coaching revolves around teaching on and off-the-field skills, such as communication, teamwork, building a strong work ethic, and maintaining an optimistic mindset. Coach Joe is ecstatic to be joining the Blue Angels Fastpitch organization and helping them grow for many years to come.

Coach Mike Wigo has been coaching youth softball for five years. He has been involved in competitive fastpitch softball for three out of those five years. “I fell in love with this game as soon as my daughter started playing travel softball, and I saw how the game is meant to be played at a higher level.” Mike believes that instilling confidence in young athletes is just as important as the fundamentals of the game. “When these young ladies accomplish a simple goal that was set for them, you can see the confidence on their faces and in their body language. That’s the most rewarding part of it all.”

Coach Sam has had a passion for softball since an early age. She was a four year Varsity 3rd baseman at Archbishop Wood and a four year starting infielder/outfielder at Penn State Abington. In her four years, the team made an appearance in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament each year. She received a Third Team All-Conference selection her senior year. Coach Sam was awarded the Fred Striet Memorial Award by Penn State Abington athletics which honors a student athlete who demonstrates leadership, character, growth and perfection through sport. Coach Sam plans to utilize the knowledge and skill gained from her coaches throughout the years and help her players succeed not only as softball players, but in all aspects of life.

Coach Gianna graduated from Archbishop Wood High School in 2022 and went on to play softball at Elizabethtown College. Gianna was a member of the Blue Angels Organization for 3 years and was a leader on and off the field. Gianna was a Varsity captain at Wood during her Junior and Senior seasons and led her team to a PIAA District 12 Championship as well as Philadelphia Catholic League Championship in 2022. Gianna graduated with perfect conduct for all four years of high school. She is a marketing major at Etown with a minor in Coaching. She holds herself and those she mentors to a high standard. She is currently a Junior Captain of the Etown Softball Team.
